Work in Taiwan: Info Session for International Students

Any international or overseas Chinese student studying in Taiwan or recently graduated, regardless of nationality or major. Current students, new graduates and people already working who want to change jobs are all welcome.

The points-based evaluation system is Taiwan's special permit route for international and overseas Chinese graduates. Points come from education, salary, work experience, Mandarin and other language ability, and overseas background; out of 200 possible points you need 70 to qualify for a work permit, without meeting the standard foreign-worker salary threshold. We walk through the scoring item by item, and you can also read the Ministry of Labor's official EZ Work Taiwan guidance.

It is completely free, and we do not sell any paid course or service at the event.

Yes, Vietnamese interpretation is available on site so you will follow everything. But to be straight with you: most jobs really do need Mandarin, and Mandarin ability carries a lot of weight in the points system, making it one of the easiest ways to add points. That is exactly why you should come, because the session tells you how much Mandarin you need, how many points it is worth, and which roles it opens up.

We hold a session roughly every one to two months, mostly in Taipei, New Taipei and Taoyuan. Everyone who has registered before gets notified when the next one opens.
